Nippon Sanso Matheson Celebrates World Environment Day
In honor of World Environment Day, Nippon Sanso Matheson and L&T Energy, in partnership with Numaligarh Refinery Limited(NRL), celebrated this special occasion by planting trees at the construction site of our planned Hydrogen Facility in India.
Nippon Sanso Holdings Corporation (NSHD), our parent company, and Nippon Sanso Matheson were awarded in December of 2022 the supply of Hydrogen and co-product steam for 20 years from NRL, a Government of India affiliate.
To support NRL’s refinery units in Assam, India, Nippon Sanso Matheson will establish a large, multi-feed hydrogen plant, investing in cutting-edge engineering and construction executed by Larsen & Toubro Limited and licensed reforming technology from Topsoe A/S. The hydrogen and co-product steam generated by this plant will play a vital role in the highly strategic Numaligarh Refinery Expansion Project (NREP) and the Northeast development initiative of the Indian Government. We are honored to be an integral part of this visionary endeavor.
As we celebrate World Environment Day, we remain committed to exploring opportunities that promote growth and contribute to cleaner energy and a carbon-neutral society on a global scale.
